Apparently the Devs never read the reviews of the first Cavorite as the controls are still bad. Why make the buttons so small and so close together? Too bad, if they would just fixed the buttons this would be a great game...

Yes, they are pretty fun puzzles. Nice premise and fun design. However the fact that its not possible to listen to any audio other than the games music and sound effects got annoying after the first few minutes. Also has some problems with the controls that are not very well positioned and often hard to use because the area that you have to hit is too small.
Awful, got two Minutes of playtime and then the game froze, never to be retrieved. Waste of money.
This is pretty much the same game as the first one. Almost the same puzzles, same graphics and the same sfx. If you were looking for more levels this game is for you. Otherwise think twice or you may feel bored.
App dont work on New Ipad. Show cascadia games logo and stop working.
I cant get this game to load at all!
My new favorite game
Not wholly sure as to why this is occurring, but this should be the developers issue, not mine.
After the first Cavorite we could only hope that we could continue with what might be the greatest steampunk-eske adventure on iOS to date..Cavorite2 continues the tradition with some of the most engaging and challenging puzzles..put that wii down and exercise your mind! New adversaries and new surroundings ( water levels?) combined with a game that is both beautiful and polished will have you yanking those hairs out while trying to complete some of the most mind bending puzzles to date. I have played on both iphone4 and iPad with both old and newest versions of iOS and have yet to have an issue..grab this game today..email Cascadia if you happen to have a problem so they can and will respond..its up to us to help the cause..thanks and enjoy this game! #supportindiedevs
Fail. Not loading
If you are having trouble loading the game, completely power off and on your iPad or iPod. The game will run after that. :)
This game is great but it needs an update to fix some of the bugs.
I love this game however I am unable to finish due to a glitch which causes the game to ignore gems Ive gotten in certain levels. I have completed all levels and gotten all the gems in the levels yet it still says I am missing gems no matter how many times I go back and re do those levels. Please fix this as it is VERY irritating.
Great game and great people who made it. Its a great polished indi game puzzler platformer. The controls and graphics are good and the sprite detail is better than most Indi games. $2 is a great price. The company if this game also is releasing a GAMEDOCK that lets you play indi games off your apple devices onto a TV with hdmi. Google GAMEDOCK.
I really think the complainers are just looking for an easier game. I read all the reviews for Cavorite and Cavorite 2. People seemed to have fewer issues with Cavorite 2 so I gave it a whirl. Im really glad I did. I find the game to be superb. The graphics and music are excellent. I spent an hour or so just before bed clearing 5 or 6 levels. This morning I got into it again. There is a 99 cent in-app purchase to unlock more levels. I havent come close to clearing the first set of levels but unlocked the others anyway. I know Ill be enjoying Cavorite for a long time. Some levels have more than one solution which makes for great replays. I really commend these guys for creating such a fun game. It feels like a platformer but is really more of a puzzle game with an early 80s feel, though the graphics are much more polished. You can drop boxes on creatures and freeze them, which is quite fun. Its refreshing to play a creative game where the focus is less on violence and more on overcoming obstacles. You wont progress in this game unless you work at it but I like that. My teenage son (14) is playing it on iPad right now and has complained that the buttons are a little small, which makes it hard to move. Hea wearing a sling around a fractured arm so he may be biased. Others have mentioned this so Im bringing it up. I havent tried It on iPad but dont have an issue with the controls or way they respond. Im playing on an iPhone 4S. I think some younger gamers are used to games that are ridiculously easy. They dont appreciate the challenge of these retro-feel games. Love it! Great job guys!
Used to be one of my favorite games. This update breaks support for many bluetooth controllers & makes other ones unusable (Gametel, icontrolpad, etc…) Controls have a long lag. Im not sure why anybody would assign 4 dead buttons to a controller. (standard practice is to assign duplicate buttons to account for variations without having to allow remapping) Also the on screen controls are difficult to use. The buttons on an iPhone are unresponsive & small (Sensing area to activate the buttons could easily be larger) Great game, so close, a few lazy choices that confuse me.
